JESSE KAMINSKY PERFORMS : FIELD SERVICE RADIO at ICA BOSTON
May 7th – August 6th
The First Broadcast of Field Service Radio!
Kicks off tomorrow evening from 4-7pm at the ICA Boston!
Pictured above is my prop sculpture console for Field Service Radio. It’s now installed in Ricardo De Lima’s “Another Spectacle” room at the ICA Boston as a part of the Foster Prize show. I’ll be performing radio on it every Thursday from 4-7pm throughout this spring and summer, beginning with the inaugural 3 hour show tomorrow (TUESDAY) evening. If you’re already coming to the opening, bring a song to share on the radio! The console has three microphones, a record player or you can just plug in your phone. Come share a favorite obscurity, play a secret workout song from your guilty pleasures list, take the shuffle challenge or just tell a story that you made up.
Like the my current show Kaminsky Kamoutsky (which will continue), this will be broadcast on WFMU’s Give the Drummer Radio stream. The regular Thursday broadcasts will start on May 7th and go until August 6th and I’d love for you to be involved! Please let me know if you want to stop by the ICA to take part in the intergalactic music odyssey! Every Thursday 4-7pm!
